APPLY TO BECOME A GALE AMBASSADOR

What We Need

To help us select the strongest students for the Gale Ambassador Library Support Program, we ask applicants to send us their CV and a short video (no more than 5 minutes) which includes the below:
  • Introduce yourself: State your name, university, year group (in September 2025) and course.
  • Explain: What would you say to students to explain the value of primary sources?
  • Suggest: One idea to increase engagement with an X channel (this can include ideas to share the channel more widely, and also in terms of the content shared on the channel), and one idea for an in-person promotional event you could run at your university to inform more students about Gale. Be as creative as you like!
  • Feel free to mention any other reasons you’d be good for the role. (Do you have any experience with public speaking, writing marketing copy or using Social Media for promotion? It doesn't matter if not, but have a think what you can offer!)

Eligible Students

To apply, you must be a current student (for a year from September 2025) at one of the following universities, live in Europe, South Africa, or India, and be studying an Arts, Humanities or Social Science subject.

How to Apply

You will need to upload your video and CV to WeTransfer. (You can use the free version). WeTransfer will generate a link (URL address) which enables us to download your video and CV. (You can upload more than one file at a time to WeTransfer, so you will only need to generate one link.) Paste the link into the form below.
