Pathways to Reading: Strategies for Lifelong Literacy in English is a series of professional development sessions aimed at strengthening reading competence in English across diverse educational contexts. Rather than presenting a fixed reading plan or promoting specific materials, this initiative offers practical tools, teaching strategies, and flexible models that can be adapted to any school environment, regardless of whether a formal reading program is already in place.

This support is designed to empower educators to create meaningful reading experiences that foster both critical thinking and a love for reading. Through three interactive sessions, participants will explore strategies to enhance reading comprehension, promote reading habits, and strike a balance between recreational and academic reading—skills essential to navigating the challenges of the 21st century.

THIS COURSE

• Does not imply an official course or institutional reading program.
• Suggests a long-term, supportive approach.
• Offers flexibility for institutions with or without an existing reading plan.
• Aligns with the values of exploration, discovery, and holistic development.
