VINNIE NOBRE
Vinnie Nobre is the VP of Canadian Operations for the ILSC Education Group, overseeing the language portfolio at ILSC schools, vocational programs at Greystone College and the administration of High-stake tests. He is also an MA tutor for NILE and the University of Chichester.
He has been in education for over 25 years and is an experienced education executive, teacher trainer, author and university/college professor. He held leadership positions at Everybody Loves Languages - a Canadian Education Technology company, CNA, Troika, Cultura Inglesa, CELLEP, and other organizations. As a consultant, Vinnie also devised academic projects for language centers, publishers and regular schools all over the world, and worked as a CELTA tutor and assessor.
Vinnie has co-authored course books and three reference books on ELT methodologies ("Getting into ELT Assessment"; "Getting into Teacher Education: a Handbook" both from Cengage Learning; and "Teaching English Today: Contexts and Objectives"). He has also written several articles and book chapters and delivered talks in several different countries. He is also an experienced examiner, past president of the Brazilian Association of English Teachers (BRAZ-TESOL), former board member of the IATEFL Young Learners and Teenagers SIG, and former leader of the Training and Development group of the British Chamber of Commerce. |
